Welcome to The Southeast Michigan Nursery and Landscape Association

The Southeast Michigan Nursery and Landscape Association was established in 2003 to provide “Regional Answers to Regional Needs” to Southeast Michigan’s Green Industry firms.

SEMNLA is a Federated Chapter of the Michigan Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA). If your firm is a member in good standing with the MNLA and you are located in any of these Southeast Michigan Counties—Lenawee, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, St. Clair, Washtenaw, and Wayne—you are automatically enrolled as a member in the SEMNLA Chapter.

Regional Answers to Regional Needs AND the benefits your State Association provides—Membership Matters!

4th Annual Green Industry Chapter Shoot Out Competition and Meet & Greet a Great Success!

On October 28th, members of the Southeast Michigan Nursery & Landscape Association met at the Island Lake Shooting Range in Brighton to compete in the 4th Annual Green Industry Chapter Shoot Out Competition. The event featured a friendly competition as the teams shot at 50 sporting clays on a 7-station course. We were fortunate and the weather cooperated again this year and we all enjoyed a beautiful Michigan Autumn day.

By Tim Parker, Bluewater Horticulture LLC and 2020 SEMNLA President

I am old enough to have been alive during some turbulent times; no wise guys, not the Great Depression or the Big War, but 9-11, the Great Recession and now COVID-19.
